What Could Be More Natural Than Using This Gift of Life
– From Birth and Beyond?

As a gynecologist, I’ve always been fascinated by our ability to precisely monitor a child’s wellbeing before and during birth. When the intervals between the child’s heartbeats show regular variation, all is well. However, when the heart begins to beat too uniformly, intervention becomes necessary. The expectant mother might change position, improve her breathing, receive oxygen, or in some cases, be administered medication to temporarily reduce contractions. When these interventions work, it becomes immediately apparent in the heartbeat, showing increased variability once again.

In the past, nearly every birth was monitored by midwives and doctors using the Pinard horn, a simple wooden instrument that enabled assessment of the child’s heart rhythm. Today, this role
is fulfilled by the cardiotocograph (from Latin ‘cardio’ meaning heart and Greek ‘tokos’ meaning contractions). An ultrasound sensor captures the child’s heartbeat whilst a contraction monitor, records the mother’s contractions.

This principle of heart rate variability as an unfailing indicator of a person’s actual condition a direct sign of their momentary response to the sum of all conscious and unconscious life circumstances affecting them, exists before birth and remains with us until death. It doesn’t end with our first breath, but rather with our last.

What could be more natural than utilizing this gift from life not just before birth, but throughout one’s entire life, to reliably determine what enhances or diminishes our vitality?
Such genuine ‘bio-psycho-socio-emotional feedback’ could serve as a compass whenever desired, helping guide life’s direction in harmony with one’s most fundamental current needs. One could honestly learn, with complete certainty, how long and intensively to work and sleep. Which breaks are truly beneficial, which sports, hobbies, and even which friends are good for us.
Which meals consumed at what intervals provide the most energy, and how medications, supplements, alcohol, and other substances affect us personally.

This opportunity to achieve optimal health, performance, and wellbeing not solely through personal experience and ‘gut feeling’, but by measuring expert opinions this fascinating possibility of knowing one’s life is guided along secure paths, has been the absolute focus of my life for the past 20 years.

Research in Heart Rate Variability (HRV) continues to captivate more scientists and practitioners worldwide. As more insights are gained through applying this method across all life domains, it becomes increasingly evident that harnessing this simple principle inherent in every human being will be the key technology enabling people to make profoundly autonomous decisions for their lives.

Increasingly simple sensors, usable daily without any restrictions, work in conjunction with highly complex algorithms-based on physiological and pathophysiological principles and an extensive database to provide insights into current health and performance, as well as implications of past circumstances and secured, targeted planning for the future.

This is significant not only because medicine stands at its greatest developmental step-achieving health rather than merely fighting and preventing illness, but because we’ve always followed this credo and now understand how to achieve this goal through new personalized and constructive medicine.

Our entire explanation, results, and recommendation system is successfully focused on demonstrably improving health and performance whilst simultaneously balancing irregularities and significantly supporting (self)healing from illness. Our company is owned by a select group of individuals whose goal is to Create happiness for all, by simplifying health. As the company Founder and Medical Doctor, I ensure that all employees’ thinking and actions are guided by medical ethos, in line with my medical self-understanding.
